Compliance Programme
STANDARD NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL
LICENCE HOLDERS
What will you LEARN?
How are you going to make sure you are running a compliant transport business? Is there an advantage to knowing at all times whether you are compliant or not? Of course there is and that’s why we give you the tools to make sure you know for sure.
Our Compliance programme for standard national and international licence operators allows you 12 months of access to an operator licence awareness training (OLAT) course that is fully certificated once completed to prove relevant continuous professional development (CPD).
After completing your OLAT training you need to assess and monitor your operation to check that you are running compliant and we’ve got a tool just for that. Included in the programme is a COMPREHENSIVE Audit template that you can use to ensure that you are meeting each standard expected.
But that’s not all, we will give you access, free of charge, to 21 compliance policy templates that you can adapt and personalise for your own use… complaints, health and safety, road risk, tyres, roadworthiness, transport infringements … the list goes on. That alone will save you hours of hard work and most importantly, a few thousand pounds if you needed to have them written for you.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS
We are a company and want to order access for more than one person, how do I place my order?
To place your order please use the live chat facility on our website and tell us which course you would like to order and how many people you would like to enrol. Our team will then liaise with you to process your order.
When does the course start?
When you want it to! You can access the course as soon as you sign up and you don’t need to wait for tutors, dates or times. You can access the course and learn whenever you want to. Just log in and learn, from anywhere. You have access 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
How do I start my course?
Once purchased you will automatically receive some emails from us welcoming you to the course, all you have to do is set a password and then log in and learn. Your course will be waiting for you in your personal, private dashboard.
Where can I get help with my course?
In your course, we provide you with contact details for our student support team. You have full 1-2-1 tutor support for the entire duration of your course access.
How much time do I have to complete my course?
This course comes with 12 months of unlimited access so you have plenty of time to complete the course.
How long will the course take to complete?
This varies between each person. We have some people who complete in just a few months whilst others need to extend beyond the initial 12 months of course access given. It really depends on how much time you can commit and how well you progress through the course. There is approximately 150 hours worth of study material within the course. This changes as our training team continue to enhance and develop the course. You have complete flexibility to study as and when you want to, so if you study full time you will complete a lot sooner than someone who is studying around work and family. It’s completely down to you and there is no pressure.
Does this course have mock tests?
Yes, in order to help you prepare for the formal CILT examinations we provide knowledge retention tests throughout the course. These have instant marking so you will be able to quickly identify knowledge gaps and gauge your progress.
Will I get a certificate?
CILT will award you your certificates upon passing the examinations and becoming fully qualified.
Who is CILT and what do they do?
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is the chartered body for professionals involved in the movement of goods and people and their associated supply chains.
They bring together the five distinct communities of Logistics & Freight Movement, People Mobility, Planning in Transport, Operations and Supply Chain Management and Sustainability & the Global Community and provide specialist activities and multi-sector engagement through their associated forums and policy groups.

What is your pass rate?
The NTP pass rate is well above the national average, with us averaging around 87%. Each month this varies slightly but in April 2022 our passenger transport manager students achieved a 100% pass rate, and our road haulage students achieved an 80% pass rate. The national average pass rate is around 40%.
Where do I take my exams?
Both of the transport manager CPC exams are now available to be taken online. So there is no need to visit a test centre however if you would like to sit your exam in paper format this can be arranged at our Head Office.
How many exams do I need to take?
There are two examinations. One is a multiformat exam and the other is a case study examination. You need to take and pass both to get qualified.
How much do exams cost?
Exams are £99 each inclusive of fees. There are two examinations to take which comes to a total of £198. You ONLY pay for exams when you are ready to book and take them.
What do I need to take exams online?
You will need a laptop or desktop computer with a microphone, speakers and camera with the ability to download examination software. On the examination day you will need to ensure you can be alone in the room without being disturbed for the duration of the exam.
What the exam dates?
Each year there are ten dates available to take both of the exams. They are normally at the start of each month and in 2022 the only months that are not available are January and September.
What happens if I fail my exams?
From the time you register with NTP you will have our full support to help you pass first time but of course there is no guarantee because ultimately it all comes down to you. In the unlikely event that you do fail, you have the ability to re-sit as many times as you need within a two year period.
