Course Prerequisites

To undertake this course you must meet the requirements detailed on the checklist. If you do not meet the criteria please do not purchase the course, instead contact us to speak to our enrolment advisors.

  • Be able to read, write and speak in English fluently. This is because the formal CILT examinations are carried out in English only.

  • Be capable and confident using a computer. You should be able to access the internet and know how to use email and word etc.

  • Have access to a desktop computer, laptop or tablet with an internet connection, camera, microphone and speakers.

  • Be aged 18 or over. This is because the traffic commissioner will not grant permission to anyone under the age of 18 to be a named transport manager on an operator licence.
